Are you a licensed and insured mechanical contractor?
Yes. Jaccel & Heat Mechanical is fully licensed and insured, and all work is performed by Local 638 union steamfitters. We’re also a New York State Certified Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) and a Port Authority of NY & NJ Certified Small Business Enterprise (SBE).
Do you work with non-union general contractors?
Yes. While our crews are Local 638 union steamfitters, we work as a mechanical subcontractor for both union and non-union general contractors. What matters to most GCs is that the mechanical work is done right, on schedule, and to code, and our union training is what makes that possible.
What areas do you serve?
We serve all five boroughs of New York City, Nassau County, and Suffolk County. Our work spans commercial, institutional, and industrial facilities throughout the New York metro area.
Do you handle emergency or after-hours mechanical work?
Yes. Mechanical systems don’t fail on a schedule, and we provide emergency mechanical services, shutdown support, and urgent repairs across our service area whenever they’re needed.
Do you work with smaller facilities, or only large commercial jobs?
Both. We take on projects of all sizes, from single equipment replacements and smaller facility upgrades to full mechanical room installations on large institutional and industrial job sites.
