We specialize in commercial HVAC, hydronic piping, and mechanical installations for general contractors, prime mechanical contractors, and healthcare and institutional facilities across the five boroughs and Long Island. Every job we take on carries the weight of 20-plus years of hands-on union experience and a family name we built from the ground up.
Local 638 Steamfitters
What a Union Mechanical Contractor Delivers
Jaccel & Heat is a union shop, plain and simple. All work is performed by Local 638 steamfitters, meeting the training, safety, and quality standards that major general contractors and institutional clients require.
Jaccel & Heat holds two certifications:
- New York State Certified Minority Business Enterprise (MBE)
- Port Authority of NY & NJ Certified Small Business Enterprise (SBE), Construction Services category
These qualify the company for minority and small business participation goals on public sector, Port Authority, and hospital contracts.
Who We Are
Built on a Family Name, 20 Years in the Making
The name JACCEL comes from the initials of founder Jeron Anthony, his father Clive, and his two sons: three generations of the same bloodline in one company. The “& Heat” side speaks to the work itself. As steamfitters, the job is simple to explain and hard to master: bring heat into a space or take it out.
Jeron was initiated into the Local 638 apprenticeship program in 2002 at 21, following his father, a career steamfitter. He graduated in 2007 and spent the next 18 years working alongside his father on commercial and industrial projects across the New York metro area, including One World Trade Center, Bank of America, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, and Yankee Stadium.
When Clive retired in 2020, Jeron kept going. In late 2023, he decided it was time to build something of his own.
